A native New Yorker hailing from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Chris started his interest in film by making skateboard videos with his friends in high school. While cutting his projects on a VHS reel-to-reel analog editing machine, he found himself immersed in the editing process. By getting into the School of Visual Arts film editing program through early decision, he knew he could take this process and blow it wide open. Graduating with a BFA, Chris has spent his professional career editing commercials for various clients from Calvin Klein to Nike, as well as cutting long-form documentaries for VICE and short-form profiles and music videos for Sony Legacy. From broadcast TV to sizzle reels, Chris has cut it all. Being an editor by trade and a drummer by hobby, pace and rhythm are at the forefront of Chris’ life. This keeps his cuts fresh, vibrant, moody, and always moving with the industry styles while still maintaining his own signature feel and look to set him apart from the rest.
